Future Forge Workshop

Over the summer, the team at SUVC ran its flagship startup workshop Future Forge taking a cohort of 10 aspiring founders through every stage of the entrepreneurial journey. From idea origination and MVP development to go-to-market strategy and fundraising..

Participants received hands on guidance from industry professionals and startup mentors learning how to validate ideas, build early prototypes and position their ventures for growth
We collaborated with partners such as Ontik Technology, Blackmont Consulting and the Oxbridge Fellowship who provided workshops, technical support, and insights to help our founders turn their ideas into real, investor-ready ventures.

The SUVC X Lovable Hackathon 2025

Discover your inner vibe coder at Cardiff's very first coding hackathon!

Impact focused event where students from all disciplines come together to design and build digital solutions such as apps, websites or platforms that address one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Participants will form teams to tackle real world challenges that affect communities locally and globally. Whether you’re a coder, designer, business student, or simply passionate about making a difference, this hackathon is built to make tech and entrepreneurship accessible to everyone.
Throughout the event, participants will gain hands on experience turning ideas into tangible solutions. By the end of the hackathon, teams will pitch their projects to a panel of judges from the worlds of tech, business, and sustainability with the best ideas receiving prizes.
Work on projects aligned with global impact and sustainability, collaborate with diverse, like minded students, learn practical skills in tech, entrepreneurship and design thinking, showcase your work to investors, mentors, and partners.
